Social Media Cleanse

My boyfriend and I decided that it was time to take a break from the social media; in exception of reddit and any type of blog sites. We are more strict when it came to FB and IG because it was pure addiction. Why? To focus on what’s happening in school and basically anything outside of the Internet. We want to be able to reach a deeper connection with others by calling or texting them instead of just giving them a post or shout out. In the end, we want to be able to not depend on the social media to be social. In such a case, I will most likely be blogging our 90 day social media cleanse in hopes to capture our struggles and success. Because of our techy world today, I know it’s going to be a bumpy ride but being dependent and living on the Internet doesn’t seem to be the best way to live your life either. So here it is, folks, a social media cleanse until January 19, 2013.
